Teresa Huddleston

Barren County Chapter Member
Teresa Huddleston became a member of the Barren
County Networking Women in April 2009. She is excited
to be a member of this organization and is looking
forward to the future of the group and the contributions she can make as a member.
Teresa grew up in Cookeville Tennessee where she attended Tennessee Technological
University. After getting married and moving to Bardstown Kentucky in 1984, she received her
Associates Degree from the University of Kentucky in Office Administration. Teresa has had
various jobs since that time from working in a distillery to banking. She has been in banking for
12 years and has worked for South Central Bank for 11 years. As the Customer Service Manager
for the bank, Teresa is highly involved with the deposit customer base to insure they receive the
types of deposit accounts that best fit their financial needs. “Not only do I enjoy working with our
customers, but it is wonderful to have been a part of the South Central Bank family for the past 11
years”. In addition to being a member of the Barren County Networking Women, Teresa is
looking forward to participating in the 2009-2010 Glasgow Barren County Leadership Program.
“By participating in this program I hope to gain knowledge of our city and county’s civic
organizations and become a member of one that I feel best benefits our community and its
people”.
Teresa is married to Gary Huddleston. They recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary
in June. Gary has worked for Southern States Cooperative for the last 25 years as well. Gary &
Teresa have one daughter, Michelle, who is a sophomore at Western Kentucky University
majoring in Elementary Education. They are members of Immanuel Baptist Church in Glasgow.
Among numerous personal hobbies, as a family, one of the Huddleston’s favorite activities is to
attend University of Tennessee football games (GO BIG ORANGE)!
Teresa feels that being a member of Networking Women will help her enhance her
communication skills which is a pivotal benefit to her job. In addition, as a newer member, she
looks forward to gaining not only business acquaintances but long-lasting friendships.
